My Review Of Two New Anime's I've Started Watching

Just yesterday I went over my friends house. While there we watched alot of anime, two of them I had never seen before.

The first was, "Kaleido Star". It was actually a pretty good anime. I only watched five episodes but still, pretty good. It's very inspirational how the main character 'Sora' flys all the way from her homeland, Japan to live her dream of performing on the Kaleido Stage. She is a gymnast with hopes of being a star someday. After missing her audition the boss still decided to give her another chance, she may have messed up on her first 'on-stage' performance but still made it through. This show is also quite funny and entertaining. I really look forward to finding more episodes online to continue the series.But lemme tell you, the big-star, Layla at this show is a major b*tch!! Just had to include that ^-^





  

The next anime I watched that I never even heard of before was, 'Petite Princess Yucie'. This was a very interesting and amazing anime. I only watched the first two episodes however. A girl named Yucie appeared out of nowhere seventeen years back, and was found by her new father. She is now seventeen, yet in the body of a ten year old. Some say this was a witches curse. This limits her in many ways in life. When she was younger, a prince had saved her and her new dream was to someday meet, and marry him. The queen is now holding a sort of 'competition' to find girls who are 'worthy' or marrying her son, the prince. Yucie thought she never had a chance with such a young body. But after coming in contact with a certain crown, and not dying like others would, she proved worthy to compete in the contest. Yucie also discovered if she were to win, and be able to wear the crown, she would gain the body she truly was supposed to have. Overall this was an amazing anime, with a great storyline full of mystery and suspense but lots of humor also.
